You should be an articulate, dedicated and intelligent graduate who has their sights set firmly on a career in primary education. You will be joining the school in September as a cover supervisor across all year groups. It will be your responsibility to cover classes in the absence of the teacher- giving you firsthand experience of what it is like to manage a full class of Primary pupils. You will not be responsible for the planning or assessment of the class as this is the responsibility of the teacher. It will be your responsibility to deliver preset work and manage the class. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to start their teaching career as you will be able to develop your initial teaching skills- class management, lesson delivery and teaching style. For the right candidate, there will also be the opportunity to remain with the school, the following academic year, to train as a Primary school teacher.
