Job Description:

Design Engineer to work on the design of precision engineered parts and assemblies. Your new company You will be joining a global business that design and manufacturer, precision engineered products for a wide variety of applications. Working from a site in Lincoln you will be part of an experienced Design team, working on the design of components and assemblies. Your new role As a Designer you will be using CAD and PLM software to work on the detailed design of new components and associated assemblies and implementing changes across existing product ranges; with geometric tolerancing and dimensioning in accordance with BS8888. In addition you will be compiling and maintaining technical documentation such as engineering instructions, standards, manuals, BOM's and MRP data. What you'll need to succeed Educated to Degree/HND level you will possess recent exposure to working in a mechanical design environment where you have been using CAD software for 3D modelling and 2D drawing. Through this this you will have developed the required skills to produce detailed designs of relatively complex components, ideally castings and their subsequent machining operations. Preferably you will have worked with NX, although experience with otehr packages will be considered.
