With a Matrix organisation and many brands under their remit; they are now looking to hire a Director of Marketing Insights THE ROLEReporting to the Group Marketing Director you'll ensure high quality customer and market insights are generated across the group and used to drive marketing and business decisions. The key accountability will be to drive improved ROI performance across the brand by strengthening Business Unit's capabilities.Main Job Responsibilities: Establishing guidelines regarding customer and market research and analysis, including customer segmentationLead the establishment and execution of a standardised approach to measuring and reporting on return of marketing investment across the groupGenerate and communicate customer and market insights that the brand needs to inform strategic decisions that cut across or sit outside of the business unit's current operationsAdvises on conducting market and customer research and generating and using market and customer insights to drive business decisionsAdvise business units on building ROI capabilities and assessing return on any marketing investmentServe as the voice of the customerIdentify, disseminate, and drive adoption of internal and external best practices in generating and using customer and market insights to drive decisionsIdentify, disseminate, and drive adoption of internal and external best practices in measuring and using ROMI; push the brand to develop world-class ROMI capabilities.Please ONLY apply if you possess the following:A graduate degree in economics, statistics, marketing, business or similar fieldSkilled in the application of customer/market insights and measuring/application of ROMI to drive business decisionsDeep knowledge of customer/market research and ROMI (including econometrics, media evaluation/testing, market mix modelling and analytical techniques, methodologies, and toolsStrong analytical skills, adept at distilling insights from dataStrong communication skills; ability to communicate complex topics simply and compellinglyStrong stakeholder management and influence skills; ability to navigate across and exert influence on multiple stakeholder groupsResults-oriented; adept at driving action based on insightsAbility to communicate complex topics simply and compellinglySelf-motivated, resilient, and positive with a "can-do" attitudeDemonstrable Experience should include:Experience building/strengthening customer insight and ROI capability within a large, multi-national company and embedding it into decision makingTrack record of driving business results through generation and communication of actionable insights across ROI and other areas (Marketing, Propositions, Customer Experience etc)Track record of leading teams whose ROI analysis consistently translated into action and delivered demonstrable financial results including building the capability from scratch ideallyExperience developing customer segmentation and embedding it in business operationsExtensive experience communicating insights and ROI analysis to senior business leaders to drive decisionsTo apply for the Director of Marketing Insights position, please click the 'Apply' button or email (see below)
