Finance Business Partner needed for global automotive business in Berkshire!£45,000 - £50,000 + BenefitsStanton House is currently recruiting for an exciting Finance Business Partner position to join a well known automotive business in the Reading areas. This position is suitable for a Newly Qualified accountant and will be part of the UK Finance Business Partnering team who cover all financial aspects from day to day accounting through to commercial decision support and long term planning for the UK operation for one of the main business divisions.Key responsibilities:- Business Partnering: providing informed financial understanding and cost/profitability detail for one of the business unit operations, indicating improvements and conducting root cause analysis where required- Providing professional insight and support of the financial impacts of all commercial business decisions taken by the business for sales, production and new model launch planning, pricing planning, promotional campaign planning and profitability and KPI measurement- Ownership for delivering accurate monthly P&L's for one of the business units as well as submission to the Group analysing variances against budget- Present monthly UK P&L to the Senior Management team, explaining all variances to budget, highlighting any risks and opportunities- Coordinate and prepare quarterly budgets and longer term plans for the business- Provide commercial input into the budgeting strategies- Play an active role in driving best practice within the finance function and act as key link between the UK and the SSC, taking responsibility for continual improvement, efficiency saving and standardisationKey requirements:- University graduate- ACA/CIMA/ACCA newly qualified accountant with 1-3 years post qualification experience - will also consider a first time mover from practice into industry- Experience of management accounting, financial reporting, financial planning and budgeting essential- Proven track record of working with, challenging and influencing senior stakeholders- Business partnering experience essential- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills- Proactive and flexible approach as well as ability to demonstrate an interest in people and a naturally curious and questioning manner
