Vacancy Advert Front End Web CoordinatorPermanent - Full-time Salary: £23,500 - £29,400 Location: Cambridge What it's about It's vital that Cambridge Assessment English and Cambridge Assessment Admissions Testing promote their products and services effectively in our many international markets via digital channels. The Front End Web Coordinator plays a pivotal part in the operation of the web and email-marketing aspects of our digital presence, both in hands-on development and support and also by training and advising our many UK-based and overseas web editors to allow them to maximise the impact of their websites and email-campaigns in their respective markets. We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate with experience of editing and developing content-managed websites who can provide expertise in designing and building digital solutions to our business and marketing needs. What you'll be doing Implementing and managing the delivery of day-to-day website updates, including guiding best practice in the work of internal web editors, both in the UK and overseas.  Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders in designing, developing and implementing website solutions to their business and marketing needs including providing a variety of recommendations as to best practice, user experience and usability.  Carrying out web development and bug fixes in a variety of Scripting languages to ensure we maintain a strong digital offering on the Cambridge Assessment English and Cambridge Assessment Admissions Testing websites.  Providing training, guidance and consultancy in the use of our Content Management System (Tridion), in particular for web editors in the Cambridge Assessment English overseas teams but also advising on best practice to UK-based colleagues.  Carrying out development, implementation and support for email campaigns.  Liaising with internal IT teams to identify and resolve bugs and request new features in order to enhance the user experience on our websites. What we're looking for Essential: Education to graduate or equivalent level. Strong skills with Adobe Creative Suite and ability to write valid, clean HTML and CSS and use Javascript libraries such as JQuery. Experience with Web Content Management systems on high-profile public-facing websites and implementation of email campaigns. Enthusiastic and innovative, with strong project and time-management skills and ability to work without close supervision but also a good collaborator. Skilled communicator - able to explain technical subjects to colleagues at appropriate level of detail. Desirable: Professional web-design and/or development qualification. Understanding of search-engine optimisation (SEO) and good practice in user experience (UX) and web accessibility. Experience of working in an international organisation. Experience in responsive design and/or development in websites and/or mobile apps.
