Training - As an new Analyst joiner, you will attend Global Markets Global Training. Nomura places great emphasis on the career development of our junior population. Our comprehensive 4 week programme will focus on Global Markets technical training alongside business speakers and networking opportunities. The unique programme will orientate you to Nomura's history, values, and build your knowledge and appreciation of working within a Japanese investment bank. Global training will provide you with the necessary knowledge and skills required to join the desk and maximise your potential. What's your role? As a 2018 Global Markets Graduate, you will join the Research desk in London. We are looking for someone who can perform macro-economic and financial analysis including written reports, build trading and forecasting models and specialise in developed and developing European rates and FX markets. This will require: Strong technical skills including econometric and potentially programming skills An academic background in economics or finance at a masters level or higher Good written and presentational skills Command of at least one other European language, Russian would be preferred Evidence of being able to work well in teams Previous experience of a Summer Internship within Research What are we looking for?
