Our highways team focuses on medium and large scale highway schemes encompassing major highway design, local authority frameworks, infrastructure maintenance and consulting advisory roles. The work covered by this department is predominantly for Highways England and Local Authority clients. As a graduate working within highways, you will be involved in: * Preparation of designs and drawings * Preparation of statutory orders * Consultation with clients and stakeholders * Quality control and checking responsibilities * Writing technical reports * Working to agreed timescales and budgets You can work towards Chartered Engineer - CEng status and will also gain experience in: * CAD * Highway alignment design * Drainage design * Standards and highway specifications The minimum qualifications for this position are: We expect our candidates to have graduated with or expecting to graduate with a with a minimum 2.1 or Merit Bachelors / Masters degree in, or related to Civil Engineering.
