Head of HR role based in Newcastle. Your new company A forward thinking dynamic Law firm. Your new role A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a well known law firm based in Newcastle. The firm has recently embarked on a ambitious strategic plan, and as part of this they have decided to recruit a Head of HR to join the team. The role is very much part of the Senior leadership team and very strategic. The role will involve looking at the growth strategy of the business and how the HR strategy can align with the organisational strategy. This individual will be looking at organisational design and change management, organisational development, talent management, implementation of leadership, learning and development, graduate and apprenticeship recruitment, implementation of performance management systems, promotion and development of the firms culture and values, employee engagement, compensation and benefits, leading in the design, development and maintenance of HR policies and procedures. This is just a snap shot of the role, so an extremely exciting opportunity. What you'll need to succeed The client is looking for someone who is CIPD qualified and has worked at this level before. Organisational design, change management and strategy is very important for this role, so you must have previous experience in this area. The client is happy with regards to background, however legal would be preferential, but definitely not essential. What you'll get in return A superb role for a great company.
