JOB TITLE Junior Technical Business Analyst REPORTING TO Senior Business Analyst OPPORTUNITY This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven graduate with 2 years experience to join a fast growing IT integrator with a fantastic culture. KEY PURPOSE OF ROLE Supporting the Senior Business Analyst in delivering high quality operational and strategic report to the business, ensuring both integrity and relevance to aid decision making. This role will require a broad range of skills, ranging from analytical to business partnering. EXPERIENCE Strong Graduate Degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Mathematics 2+ years professional experience of SQL development/DBA Strong attitude, commitment and passion for technology MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Producing Daily Sales Figures; Consolidated by Person, by Region and Company. Producing Weekly Sales Forecasts. Regular and on demand customer facing spend reports. Assisting with the production and development of KPI dashboards Maintenance and improvement of Sales Performance KPI reporting. Maintenance and improvement of Purchasing Performance Statistics. Other ad-hoc reporting as required. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Strong analytical skills, with a financial prospective an advantage. Strong interpersonal skills, involving communicating to all levels of the business. Gathering and documenting specific and accurate requirements. Gaining exposure to a broad spectrum of new methods, techniques and technologies. Developing interactive, responsive and visual reporting dashboards with a hands on approach. Meticulous in rigorous validation in regards to data quality. Ability to manage intensive and varied workload effectively. Comfortable designing and implementing a range of complex stored procedures, triggers, views, UDFs and SSIS packages in line with project requirements. SOFTWARE SKILLS Must have very strong system skills and previous experience in using at least some of the following software packages; Essential Skills/Experience Use of SQL Manager to create/amend tables, views and stored procedures. Use of SSRS to design and develop reports/KPIs. Advanced Excel skills and a high level of competency using all other MS Office. Beneficial Skills/Experience Use of Oracle based reporting software (Essbase, FR Studio, OBI EE). Use of MS Power BI.
