Learning Mentor Jobs | 12 month FTC | Start: ASAP | Multiple subjects | Camden, North London Learning Mentor Jobs Salary: UCL Academy Pay scale 4 Spine Point 18 (£21,330) pro-rata, term time only (£18,531) Contract: Fixed-term contract until 31 August 2018, term time - possibility of extension for another academic year for the right candidate Start date: As soon as possible/ Subject to notice period The UCL Academy are currently recruiting for numerous Learning Mentors in a range of subject areas, including Maths, Literacy, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Psychology & Sociology and Economics. This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate with vision and passion to provide inspirational mentoring in their specialist subject. The successful candidates will provide support to a variety of students across all year groups, primarily to A-level students, who require additional support in overcoming barriers to learning that prevent them from achieving their full potential. Working closely with teachers, teaching support staff across faculties and under the guidance of Curriculum Leaders, you will learn and develop your own knowledge base and gain first-hand experience in supporting students. If you have a passion for math's and want to enhance your knowledge, or if you are interested becoming a future secondary teacher this role will prove to be an educational and rewarding experience both personally and professionally.
