Learning Support Assistant job | Autism, PECS, Visual Timetables | KS2 | Bristol | Immediate Start Your new school A wonderful Primary school, located in the centre of Bristol is looking for a dedicated and experienced Learning Support Assistant to join their passionate and enthusiastic team within a KS2 class. The school has excellent transport links and is based within a popular residential area, close to the hustle and bustle of central Bristol. The location offers a diverse catchment area with excellent excellent opportunities of supporting a variety of children from various backgrounds and with various needs. Your new role As a KS2 LSA you will be required to work on a one to one basis supporting a child with Autism, working closely with the SENDCo to formulate an effective and structured timetable for the child, working towards targets and reporting on the child's progress. You will be working closely with the UK National Curriculum and various intervention plans alongside the SENDCo and other dedicated SEN support staff. You will also be required to use various learning tools with the child such as PECS and Visual Timetables, ensuring that lesson plans are tailored to the child's needs. What you'll need to succeed We are looking for a motivated graduate who has had recent experience supporting children within a similar role.
