Level 2 Technical Support x3 (Linux Servers, Networking Concepts, IP Networking) Location: Aztec West, BristolSalary: 22-30,000 (dependent on experience). 3 fantastic positions are available for graduate level juniors through to mid-level professionals with 2-3 years commercial experience. Level 2 Technical Support Key Skills:- Relevant Degree or relevant experience.- Some Linux Server experience.- Basic understanding of Network Concepts eg IP Networking, TCP/IP, IP Addresses, IP Subnet and DSL.- Must be able to talk comfortably about what an IP Address, IP Subnet, and Routing Protocols are and how they work.- Basic understanding of Virtualization concepts and technologies.- Must be comfortable providing support via phone, email and remote desktop.- Must be comfortable with providing 1st and 2nd line support duties.- Must be highly customer focused, personable and professional- Must have excellent English communication experience.- Must be eligible to work in the UK.Training is provided, but a passion for computing and technology is a must.About the Role:This is a fantastic opportunity to join our client's Network Management support group.Your responsibilities will include:- Providing Remote Technical Support for our client's product solutions and associated network elements.- Assisting with debugging complex product installations.- Resolving complicated product problems by applying both established procedures and creative alternatives. - Ensuring external and internal customer trouble tickets tracked are continuously updated and maintained.- Providing customers with a high level of detailed 1st line and 2nd line technical support for a range of Network Management Applications.- Tracking, investigating and resolving technical problems.About the Company:Our client is a global name, with a reputation for excellence.E-mail your CV today for an interview.
