This expanding UK Electrical Distributor is looking for a Marketing Assistant who is willing to work hard and grow with the company. The Marketing Assistant will report directly to the Managing Director and will be responsible for taking on a variety of tasks that allow for the successful completion of planned marketing programs. The is a fantastic opportunity for a University graduate to develop his/her career in Electrical Industry. The successful candidate will carry out the following duties: Responsibilities: - Works under the direction of managing Director to help reach the company's marketing goals and objectives - Research market trend, demographics, pricing strategies, and other relevant information that helps managing director develop marketing plans. - Assist with promotional activities; host presentation, exhibition and organize customer events - Research and develop competitor database by inputting data from customers or sales agents; compiling, consolidating, formatting, and summarizing information, graphs, and presentations - Design and create marketing materials, including product catalogue, price list, advertisement, website material and other promotional materials etc. - Work closely with customers and sales agent and maintain excellent relationship through superior customer service skills - Visit customers / external sales agents - Analysing questionnaires - You may be required to perform other ad-hoc tasks around the office that may be deemed necessary. Skills and Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics or related field - Previously experience in Sales and Marketing is preferred but not essential - Commercial awareness of the industry and current developments - Proficient in the use of computers, particularly marketing technology applications - Ability to handle multiple projects with varied timelines - Strong communication and organization skills - Ability to adapt to change in a fast-placed environment - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills - Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, Power Point, Excel and Outlook etc. - High enthusiasm, strong sense of responsibility, honest and confident - Excellent public speaking and interpersonal communication skills, team building and organization ability To express your interest in this position please apply now.
