The Global PR team based in London is looking for an exceptionally skilled Intern with some degree of experience in the communications industry to join their function for a 6 months internship that could potentially turn into a permanent opportunity.The role of the Public Relations Intern is to support the consumer and corporate communications function with media relations, social media and in-house press office plans. By operating on a global scale we wish to create meaningful relationships with our network and grow the network via new users. Ultimately, this leads to building brand momentum and driving brand desire.Your role within our KingdomYou will be involved in a wide range of duties, supporting the team in any PR/project based research, maintaining the calendar of events relevant to the PR community and managing ad-hoc projects. This role offers fantastic exposure to a wide range of responsibilities and will be an excellent springboard for your future career in PR & Communications.Support administration of the in-house press office;Attend and participate in weekly communications team meetings;Writing content and news articles for the business and the internal company intranet; Maintaining and updating the website and press office pages;Managing the daily news email and working with the businesses to identify and feed through news stories;Drafting updates on communications team activity to send around the business; Support social media activity i.e. Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram;Assist with the monitoring of coverage either print, broadcast or online about the company and about significant activity in their operating businesses particularly across social media;Attend regular player research sessions and feedback findings to the team;Research via social channels on key media and influencers posting about our brand;Helping the PR and Communications team to maintain important PR processes including media coverage tracking, asset management, online press room updates etcSkills to create thrillsWe are looking for someone with enthusiasm, fresh thinking and dedication that is looking to grow their career and make a strong impact to the team.Recently graduated with a degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, PR, Social Media or related;Some practical experience, maybe a year in the Communications industryExperience with utilising social media, and an interest in its power to portray and create a vibrant brand;Excellent written skills with a focus in copywriting; Good interpersonal and communication skills;Passion for mobile gaming industry;Pro-active attitude, eager to learn and a hands-on mentality;Ability to work in self-directed, fast-paced, result-oriented environment & to meet deadlines;Experience with MS suite: outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint.A great saga needs all sorts of heroesMaking games is fun.
