As the Analyst you will: Gather scientific and market data from secondary sources (published sources), including searching of websites, technical libraries and proprietary databases Conduct primary research (telephone interviews) to gain insights from academics, industry players, and market commentators Analysing data, including the selection and appropriate use of industry-standard analysis tools Generating logical 'draft' conclusions based on the data sourced Drafting reports describing research methods, findings, conclusions, and recommendations, with input from a Consultant as needed Contributing to the delivery of study outputs and proposals to clients and investors. To be considered for the role of Analyst you need the following: Education: A good undergraduate degree (BSc/BEng/MEng/MSci/MChem/MPhys etc) and ideally (though not essentially) a Doctorate (DPhil, EngD, PhD) in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Biology or Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, etc Skills Essential An interest in the commercialisation and application of science in a business environment is essential.
