Shoulder Repair EUCAN Marketing Manager Our client is an advanced medical technology business that supports healthcare professionals globally to improve the quality of life for their patients. Summary: The position is responsible for the product management of the Sports Medicine franchise - Specifically the Shoulder and Hip Repair Part of the Portfolio. Key duties will include supporting new product launches, projects and programs of the EUCAN Regional Sports Medicine business. Other key product management tasks include product profitability improvement, and the provision of general product management/support, product training, product claims and other product management tasks. This role will provide both tactical and strategic support for the EUCAN business. Essential Job Functions: Voice of the Customer: Identifies most attractive segments and reasoning for targeted approach. Ensures the project teams understand who the Customers are and what their needs are (clinical, economic, indication etc.)Assesses the portfolio and defines the business needs (including margin, competitor advantage and technical performance characteristic). New Product Introductions: Manages a wide portfolio of projects and plans through to execution, by being accountable for the full marketing mix.In line with the objectives of Project Symphony, works closely with others to build key relationships with the Global Marketing teams and other cross functional teams Product Management: Leads and delivers full product management. This includes managing the life cycle of brands and products (including strategic plans, pricing, product support, and training.)Assists the EUCAN Director in the execution of strategic marketing plans across the region.Collects and analyses market, procedure and competitive share data in field Market Support: Anticipates and proactively addresses the needs of the market at both a strategic and tactical level (eg pricing, profitability and channel access). Market Landscape: Anticipates the needs of the market by understanding key dynamics including clinical trends, care delivery and payment.Contributes to the formulation of strategies to respond. Qualifications: International travel required Degree in either a business, medical or science discipline is required. Post graduate qualification in business or marketing is beneficial Driving license required for business travel Experience in a related marketing/sales management role for medical devices Orthopaedic& sports med business preferred. Will be responsible for allocating and monitoring spend to ensure the budget is optimized.Identifies cost saving opportunities and takes proactive action. Supervision: This position has no direct reports. This role reports into the Senior Director, EUCAN Franchise Marketing Sports Medicine Internal Relationships: Builds relationships globally with Marketing professionals and leaders and country managers.Works cross-functionally and in a Matrix environment with colleagues in Communications, regulatory, finance, market access. External Relationships:This is a Healthcare facing role where the role holder must be able to credibly work with a range of Healthcare Professionals. Must be confident in liaising with external agencies and consultancies and representing our client when required at external forums and conferences. Organization Influence: As part of having EUCAN responsibility for designated projects, will be expected to influence at all levels, including senior executives up to and including President level. Limits of Authority: Decisions taken in conjunction with the EUCAN Director. Will have impact as the champion for the project, promoting understanding across the business, highlighting needs and issues and driving the right conversations/actions.
