PRIMARY PSYCHOLOGY GRADUATE SEN TEACHING ASSISTANT 1:1 SUPPORT Do you have an undergraduate degree in Psychology? Do you have SEN experience, in a School or other setting? Do you have the drive & passion to continue your support assisting SEN children at Primary level? The Primary School that I currently work with in Southwark is seeking SEN Teaching Assistants and is specifically looking for Graduates who have some experience previously supporting SEN children. It is vital that these Graduates have an understanding of SEN as they will be given the opportunity to work 1:1 with specific children who require dedicated support with the aim to raise their attainment and behaviour as much as possible. With elements of Autism, EBD and PMLD it is vital each Graduate is confident supporting pupils with this, in what can be such a challenging but ultimately rewarding position. The position is for the beginning of the new academic year, with the view for settled in and motivated Graduates to continue until July 2018. These SEN Teaching Assistant positions are an excellent position for practice before beginning a career as a Mentor, Therapist, Clinical or Educational Psychologist.
